Northwest Assistance Ministries has been serving Houston since 1983. Our mission is to strive to meet basic human needs through Neighbors helping Neighbors. Last year alone, NAM served over 119,000 people through an array of social services.
The families NAM serves need help more than ever during the holiday season. Most of those who come to NAM for help have trouble making ends meet. There is no extra money left for Thanksgiving dinner, or for holiday gifts. Each year, NAM distributes thousands of holidays meals, groceries, and gifts to families in need.
